Bike & Kayak Pulley and Hoist

The Bike & Kayak Pulley and Hoist will lift your bike, kayak, Thule, canoe to the ceiling, off the floor. The Bike & Kayak pulley will provide a fantastic way to take advantage of vacant space in you garage / storage area. The unique locking mechanism will prevent accidental release, therefore avoiding potential damage to your hanging items, and anything below. Preventing damage while creating floor space is always desirable, don’t you think? The design of the bike & kayak pulley and hoist make it easy to load and lift. Thus making it easy and hassle free to operate.

Other Uses: This product can also be used to help store ladders up and out the of the way. Let’s face it, you likely don’t use your ladder very often, therefore why have it using up valuable space?

Maximum Ceiling height: 14 ft. (additional rope is always available at your local hardware store allowing you to increase the max height)

Installation Note: Screws to fasten the mounting brackets to the ceiling joist ARE INCLUDED. StoreWALL Canada highly recommends the using lag bolts to fasten the mounting brackets to the ceiling joists providing greater strength.

Suggested Hardware: (4) 1/4″ x 1-1/4″ lag bolts or (4) # 10 x 1-1/2″ Quality Robertson Wood Screws

Installation Tools you’ll require:

You will require the following items in order to make the installation easier thus saving you time :

• A pencil (soft eraser – suggested)
• A stud finder
• Philips head bit or screwdriver (if using the supplied screws to fasten your hoist to the ceiling)
  • Option: 7/16″ socket with extension and 3/8 ratchet drive if using 1/4″ lag bolts
  • Option: #1 Robertson Head Bit if using #10 screws.
• Adjustable wrench, 11/16″ socket and driver, or 11/16 wrench.
• Ladder.
• Knife
• Lighter or torch.
